Entry Rules

The New York State Craft Beer Competition presented by Ultimate Brew Service is open to all commercial breweries in New York state.

Please carefully review the Entry Categories and choose the correct category for your beer. We reserve the right to add, remove, or alter categories depending on the number of entries.

Please submit all additional information judges will need to fairly evaluate your beer. This can include (but is not limited to) SRM, IBU, special ingredients or processes, etc.

The information you enter in the ‘Production Notes for Judging’ section of each entry will appear on the Judge’s Scoring Sheet. Please restrict information in this section to any production related info you wish the judges to be aware of as they evaluate your beer. Please keep production notes brief and include only necessary information. DO NOT include brewery or supplier names, tasting notes or marketing text.

All beers entered must be available for sale to the public. Individual beers may only be entered in one category. Multiple entries per category are allowed. 

Please include retail price of all beer in U.S. Dollars per bottle/can. Declared value of the beer is necessary so that all unopened beer can be donated to charity for fundraising purposes. All beer should be priced according to the bottle/can size entered (eg. $3.00 per 12oz.). 

Please make sure to ship per entry:
5 -  12oz or 16oz bottles or cans
4 -  22oz, 25oz, 750ml or 32oz bottles or cans (including crowlers) ~ sorry, no growlers.
